Meet Danny Allen
My journey in wood and metal working began generations before I was born. My great-
grandparents built ships for WWII; she was a welder, he a fitter. After the war, my great-
grandfather became a carpenter, carrying on a trade passed down from his own father.
Family lore says that at every job he worked, they made him the foreman. That heritage of
skill, hard work, and craftsmanship is the foundation of what I do today, It all came to life
for me in my Uncle Rodney's workshop. The smell of sawdust and the hum of the tools
pulled me in as he helped me with my first school projects. He taught me the basics, but
more importantly, he showed me the joy of creating something lasting with your own two
hands.
Today, I carry on that tradition in my own shop. I'm passionate about turning raw wood and
metal into pieces that are both functional and beautiful. To me, this craft is an art form; one
that takes patience, precision, and a relentless commitment to quality. Whether I'm
designing a custom piece of furniture or forging a unique decorative item, I bring that legacy
into every joint and weld. My goal is simple: to create work that's built to last and built to
reflect your vision.
